Throughout the Autumn term, we shall be holding online debating workshops run by top-class competitive debaters from the Oxford Union.

These workshops are available free of charge for participating schools.

These workshops are intended for debaters of all levels. They are designed to introduce debating as a concept, and to cover the basics of British Parliamentary debating, as well as tips and tricks about debate stratergy, coming up with ideas, structuring speeches, and speaking with confidence.

These workshops may also include a 30-minute Oxford admissions talk and Q&A for interested students.

New to Oxford Schools' this year, we will be running a series of additional online workshops for teachers, where we will be going through the basics of debating, judging and sharing advice about how to coach a debate society. 

These workshops are primarily aimed at teachers who are not especially familiar with debating or running a debating society, and will take place towards the end of the autumn term. Please click here to sign up.
